Terms + Conditions

These terms apply when you use the SHY website, buy products from SHY or book services at SHY. Where an appointment is booked or paid for directly with a resident artist or therapist, any separate terms shown at the point of booking may also apply.

Website + product information

We take reasonable care to keep descriptions, prices, availability and imagery accurate. Colours and scale can vary between screens, and manufacturers may update packaging or product details. Nothing in these terms limits your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order where, for example, there is an obvious pricing error, the item cannot be supplied, payment cannot be authorised or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after taking payment, the relevant amount will be returned.

Prices + payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Any delivery charge is shown before checkout. Payment is taken through the payment methods made available at checkout.

Delivery + collection

Delivery estimates and collection information are set out in Delivery + Returns and on relevant product pages. Ordered-in or special-order jewellery may have a longer lead time, which will be stated or agreed separately.

Returns + faulty goods

Our Delivery + Returns policy explains how to change your mind about an online order and how to tell us about a fault. Statutory rights for faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods are not excluded or restricted by these terms.

Appointments

Appointment changes, cancellations, deposits and no-shows are covered by our Booking + Cancellation policy and any treatment-specific conditions shown when you book.

Health + treatment information

Please provide accurate information requested for a treatment, including relevant medical conditions, allergies, medication, sensitivities or previous treatment history. A treatment may be postponed, adapted or declined where there is a safety, suitability or professional reason not to proceed.

Events

Ticket terms, including cancellation or transfer conditions, will be stated when an event is sold. Where an event has specific terms, those terms take priority for that booking.

Gift cards

SHY gift cards are subject to the terms shown on our Gift Cards page and any conditions presented by the issuing platform at purchase.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or your statutory rights relating to goods and services. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, SHY branding and original website content belong to SHY or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights they have to bring proceedings in another UK jurisdiction where applicable.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version applying to an order or booking is the version in force when that contract is made, unless a change is required by law.
