For The Modern Blow, arrive with freshly washed, towel-dried hair. For The Wave, clean hair that is roughly 60% dry works best.Bring reference images if you have a finish in mind. If your hair is especially long or thick, contact SHY before an updo so Sabrina can check whether extra time is needed.

Should I book a make-up appointment or a lesson?

Book The Signature Look if you want Sabrina to do your make-up for you for an event, photographs or simply because you want it done.Book the 1:1 Make-Up Lesson if you want to understand your own routine, go through the products you already have and practise techniques you can repeat yourself afterwards.

Yes. Sabrina can plan hair and make-up as one look for an event, shoot or photographs, rather than treating them as two unrelated appointments.Use the Hair + Make-Up booking route to start. If you need both services for the same date and the timing is not clear in the diary, email contact@studioshy.co.uk and we can help arrange it.

Yes. Sabrina’s one-to-one Make-Up Lesson is £200 and lasts two hours. It is built around your face, routine and the amount of make-up you feel comfortable wearing.Bring the products you already use if you want to. Sabrina can work through application, what is worth keeping and where the gaps are, with time for you to practise rather than just watch.
