What does semi-permanent make-up healing look like?

The colour will look stronger and more defined immediately after treatment, then soften as the skin heals. Flaking or light scabbing can happen and the colour can briefly look patchy or much lighter before it settles again.Do not pick, scratch or try to speed the process up. Follow the aftercare Sabrina sends you and allow the area to heal fully before judging the result.

Why is the refinement appointment needed?

SPMU is planned as a two-stage process. The refinement appointment is where Sabrina sees how your skin has healed and adjusts colour, shape or density where needed.It is booked around 6–8 weeks after the initial treatment and is charged separately at £150.

What does Lip Blush look like while it heals?

The colour is brighter and more defined immediately after treatment, then softens as the lips heal. Dryness and light flaking can happen during the early healing stage.Follow Sabrina’s aftercare and let the surface settle naturally rather than picking at dry or flaky skin. The healed colour is what matters, which is why the refinement is booked 6–8 weeks later rather than judging the result in the first few days.

When can I wear lipstick after Lip Blush?

Not immediately. The lip surface needs time to heal first, and Sabrina will give you aftercare for the early healing period.Wait until the treated surface has settled and follow Sabrina’s guidance before reintroducing lipstick, lip liner or other make-up directly over the area.

Does Lip Blush make your lips look bigger?

Lip Blush adds colour and definition; it does not add physical volume. Sabrina works with your natural lip shape and border rather than trying to create the effect of filler outside the lip.A clearer border and more even-looking colour can make the shape feel more defined, but the treatment itself does not make the lips larger.
