FAQs

General

  • SHY is neither a beauty salon nor a tattoo studio—it’s a unique hybrid space that transcends conventional definitions. At SHY, we combine the best elements of both worlds—the artistry and precision of beauty treatments with the creativity and individuality of tattoo culture—while leaving behind the limitations of each.

SHY is a creative collective that offers a space for expression, self-care, and transformation. We’re home to a curated selection of artists, therapists, and practitioners who specialise in everything from beauty treatments like facials, brows, and lashes to tattoos, body piercings, and wellness therapies such as acupuncture and Reiki. Each service is deeply personal and tailored to individual needs, encouraging an experience that enhances both outward appearance and inner well-being.

More than just a place for services, SHY is about art, creativity, and community. Our space is designed to inspire, from local art and photography displayed on the walls to thoughtfully crafted treatments that celebrate individuality. It’s a place where beauty, art, and well-being intersect, inviting clients not just to look good but to feel confident and express who they are.

SHY isn’t just a destination—it’s a collaborative environment where artists and clients alike come together to create something meaningful. Whether you’re seeking personal transformation through a new tattoo or want to take part in one of our workshops or events, SHY is a space for creativity, connection, and growth.
