1. SERVICES 

• Description: SHY offers a range of beauty, tattoo, and wellness services, including but not limited to Acupuncture, Facials, Massage, Reiki, Yoga, Brows & Lashes, Make-Up, SPMU, Reflexology, Tattoos, and Body Piercing. 

• Location and Availability: Our services are available during business hours at SHY, 35 High Street, Lewes, BN7 2LU. Services may also be offered by individual artists & therapists, each of whom maintains their own schedules. 

2. APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS 

• Booking: Appointments can be booked directly via the individual artists & therapists. Please refer to their bios, social media, or the SHY website for booking instructions. 

• Cancellation Policy: Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or to reschedule appointments. Failure to do so may result in a charge equivalent to the full service cost. No-shows will be charged in full. 

3. PAYMENT TERMS 

• Accepted Methods: We accept credit and debit cards for payments. Cash payments are only accepted by individual artists and must be arranged directly with the artist. SHY does not accept cash for retail purchases or bookings. 

• Refunds: Refunds for services are not provided unless under exceptional circumstances, subject to SHY’s discretion. Retail items can be exchanged within 14 days if they are unopened, unused, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Artworks, photography, piercing jewellery, skincare, supplements are non-returnable. Please refer to our full refund policy for more information.

4. EVENT/TALK/WORKSHOP TICKETS 

• Non-Refundable: Tickets for events, talks, and workshops are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to attend. Please notify SHY in advance of any name changes for the booking. 

5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Punctuality and Conduct: Clients are expected to arrive on time and conduct themselves respectfully. Repeated lateness or misconduct may result in the refusal of future services. 

• Health & Safety: Please disclose any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, allergies, or other health concerns that may affect your treatment. SHY reserves the right to refuse service if health risks are identified. If you experience an allergic reaction to any skincare or supplement product, please stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer directly. SHY is not responsible for any adverse reactions.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the intellectual property of SHY and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission. 

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

SHY is not liable for: 

• Loss or theft of personal items. 

• Adverse reactions to treatments, including allergic reactions if you have not disclosed relevant medical information. 

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. 

8. GOVERNING LAW 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the UK. 

9. AMENDMENTS 

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated on our website, and your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated terms. 

10. PRODUCTS

We sell a curated selection of skincare, supplements, and jewellery (including piercing jewellery). All product descriptions, ingredients, and details are provided by the manufacturers. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in product information.

If you experience an allergic reaction to any skincare or supplement product, please stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer directly. SHY is not responsible for any adverse reactions.
