    • Holding the BUFF Vegan Dry Brush, draw it across the chosen area using light pressure, and repeat with five to ten strokes.

    • Begin at your ankles to create light, circular strokes, moving toward the heart and paying attention to hinges of the body such as behind knees, inside thighs, interior elbows and under arms.

    • As a rule, draw the tool towards the heart and lymph nodes, such as those located in the inner thighs, underarms, and neck.

    • Gentle exploration is encouraged here to find the method that works best for you and your body.

  • Vegan dry brushes are often made with plant-based fibers such as sisal or agave, which can feel firm at first. If you prefer a softer feel, try this method:

    1. Fill a bowl with warm (not hot) water and add a few drops of fabric softener.

    2. Soak the bristles only – Dip the bristles into the water, ensuring the wooden handle stays dry to prevent damage. Do not soak the wooden handle.

    3. Let sit for 5-10 minutes – This will help soften the sisal fibers while maintaining their exfoliating benefits.

    4. Shake off excess water – Gently flick the brush to remove any excess moisture.

    5. Brush bristles on a clean towel – Firmly rub the bristles against a dry, clean towel to help further soften and separate the fibers.

    6. Air dry bristles down – Place the brush bristle-side down on a dry towel and allow it to air dry completely before use. With consistent dry brushing, the bristles naturally soften as they adjust to your skin.

    7. Cleaning the brush – Wash the bristles with mild soap and warm water, then rinse and air dry with the bristles facing down. Do not immerse the wooden handle in water, as this may cause damage. Instead, gently rub the bristles with your hand or a dry towel to remove debris.
